The wInsight Dashboard 3.0 exposes the core Deltek wInsight objects via web service technologies to allow for integration into Portals, custom Web Applications, Smart Clients or 32-bit Programs. A turnkey, out of the box solution is provided for Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services. Samples are available in J2EE Portals/Applications, Microsoft Office Smart Clients, and .NET Applications. All of this bundled with Deltek wInsight Alerts to send hands off email notifications to project stakeholders and Assessment+ to assess Program Process Maturity allows for an efficient and innovative way to manage the Program Performance of today's complex Projects.

wInsight Web Services

• Fetches data in real time from the wInsight database
• Ability to access wInsight objects securely over the web via the HTTP(S) protocol for distributed computing
• Based off web service protocols that have proven their scalability over time. Communication over the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) Protocol, interface described by WSDL (Web Service Description Language), and published by the UDDI (Universal Discovery Description and Integration) standards.
• Interaction with wInsight Web Services are language agnostic so Client applications can be written in Java, C#, C++, Visual Basic, etc.
• Web Services allow for the reuse of services and components within an infrastructure which diminishes the need to re-write code.
